Email: crt@wlink.com.np Abstract Alternative Energy Options for Mountain Eco-tourism Development - Some Experiences from Nepal My organisation, the Centre for Rural Technology, Nepal (CRT/N) has been actively engaged in the development and promotion of technologies for rural community development, which includes promotion of renewable energy options since August 1989 and I am serving as the Executive Director of this Centre. I also had the opportunity to participate at the World Mountain Symposium at Interlaken, Switzerland from 30th September - 4th October, 2001 and presented a paper, "Energy Technologies for Mountain Communities" at one of the sessions. Given the above background, through my participation, I wish to share as well as learn from the conference and through this mail, please register my participation.
